About the Event
9 days total over 4 weeks. Using traditional materials and hand tools, students will learn the process of making a backed, hickory flat bow from scratch. This class includes design, profiling, tillering, finishing, backing, string making, string silencers, and fletching. Students will leave class with a handmade bow and 6 handmade arrows. Last Saturday we will all go to the archery range for archery lessons and testing our new bows.
