Ever wanted to learn what it takes to survive in an emergency wilderness situation? How do we make fire? What's the best shelter? How do I purify water? Spend a weekend of easy car camping getting to know these answers in a low stakes and fun way. Our instructors will take you through knife safety and carving techniques, making fire by friction, shelter building, and water purification. Our site is equiped with composting toilets and an outdoor kitchen. Please bring your own camping gear or let us know if you need us to provide some. All profits go towards supporting outdoor education in highschools serving more than 50% reduced price or free lunches.
