About the Event
In this class students will learn from our expert instructorsx the absolute basic and necesary information to keep yourself alive in an emergency survival situation either while backpacking, on a day hike, or in a plane crash in the Andes (there will be no cannibalism). Class will include making fire in all weather, setting up shelter using different materials, purifying and collecting water, and finding food. All meals are provided by Black Oak Wilderness School and prepared together as a village.
