Trailblazers Day Camp immerses older student into specialized skills, connecting them with their relationship with nature, themselves, and village culture. Each Trailblazers Camp focuses on finer details and larger projects in specific activities and begins to introduce communication and leadership.

About the Event
Learn the ancient art of making a traditional bow and arrows from scratch and try your new bow on our range. Using traditional materials and hand tools, students will learn the process of making a hickory flat bow from scratch. This class includes design, profiling, tillering, finishing, backing, string making, rabbit fur string silencers, and fletching. Students will leave class with a handmade bow and 3 handmade arrows.We supply all the equipment, you just supply the enthusiasm, a water botle, lunch, and maybe a snack. So sign up today! Sign In/Drop Off occurs each day between 8:30 and 9:00 AM. Sign Out/Pick Up occurs each day from 3:30 to 4:00pm. Late Sign Out/Pick Ups will be charged an adittional $30 per day. After camp care is not provided.
